What We Do
We live caption in classrooms, businesses, and anywhere conversations take place. As we transcribe, the text is streamed wirelessly to a private website for the user to view from their smartphone, tablet, desktop, or laptop.
We customize the service to fit our client’s diverse needs, as we understand that no two projects are the same.
Once the class, meeting, or event has ended, the transcript is uploaded to a private virtual folder for the user to refer to later.
Our Staff
Randi Castro, Owner/Founder
Randi leads Intellitext’s team and oversees operations. With a career in communication access spanning over a decade, Randi’s passion and enthusiasm create Intellitext’s culture of excellence. Randi is also an experienced and qualified TypeWell transcriber, allowing her to often meet last minute requests when other transcribers are unavailable.
Randi Hecht Castro, owner of Intellitext, was awarded 2016 Nevada Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Small Business Administration and 2017 Outstanding Young Alumna Award by Nevada Alumni Association. Randi presented at the national 2013 TypeWell conference on automation and scripting techniques for professional transcribers and at the 2016 TECHWell conference on the needs, benefits, and challenges of remote transcription.

Christy Joy, Operations Manager
Christy had many years of experience in management, customer service, and HR before becoming a TypeWell transcriber in 2014. When she started working with Randi, it was clear their work ethic and personalities complemented each other well.
In addition to working as a transcriber, Christy also took on the role of Administrative Assistant to help Randi with day-to-day operations of the business. As the company continued to grow, Christy was promoted to Operations Manager in 2017 to help oversee Intellitext’s growing team.
Stacey Munsterman, Administrative Coordinator
Stacey, with an honors BS in business from the University of Nevada, Reno, recently returned to the mountains to be with her family and friends after living and working in the Bay Area. Her work background includes retail management, insurance, executive assistant, and HR.
As Intellitext’s Administrative Coordinator, Stacey supports Randi and Christy with business growth and assists transcribers and clients with their daily needs.
Jess Hinsberg, Administrative Coordinator
Jess Hinsberg hails from Long Island, New York and has since made her way to Reno, Nevada. She received her BA in Music and a minor in Theater from George Mason University.
Jess joined the Intellitext team in 2016 and quickly fell in love with the field of live transcription. She enjoyed that it combined her passion for helping people, respect for the Deaf community, and ability to utilize her wicked fast fingers in her career.
Jess's love for organization and puzzles, combined with her prior experience working with the Intellitext administrative staff, inspired her to join the team in her current role.
